Patrick Swayze's memoirs written with his wife and life-long sweetheat, Lisa Niemi is to be released 29 September.
His wife, Lisa Niemi, is to be published as the co-author as the two of them publish their story of over 34 years of marriage.
"When he sat down to write the book, he wanted to see if he had lived a good life," said Judith Curr, publisher of Atria Books. "He absolutely was a good person and lived a good life."

And as they write their memoirs, Swayze and Niemi become immensely thankful for their lives, with Swayze putting it down in his words "I began thinking to myself, I've had more lifetimes than any 10 people put together, and it's been an amazing ride," writes Swayze. "So this is okay."
