Neighbors say the suspect is a 15-year-old girl who lived at Elizabeth's friend's house

15 year old kills 9 year old: 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten disappeared Wednesday night as she walked home from a friend's house around dinner time. Police spent two days searching for the girl in the wooded areas of St. Martins, Missouri before receiving a handwritten note Friday that led them to a 15-year-old juvenile. The teen then showed detectives Elizabeth's body, which was found in a deeply wooded area that had already been searched. Officials will only say that they plan to charge the juvenile with first-degree murder sometime this week. But according to residents, the assailant is a 15-year-old girl who lived in the house Elizabeth was leaving the night she disappeared. There's still no answer as to how or why the little girl was murdered.
