Mysteries of Levi Johnston, Brawley Nolte and Candace Cameron Bure Solved...

Wondering why Candace Cameron Bure, Levi Johnston and Eric Braeden are surging in Google Trends? We can shed some light on the mystery. Google Trends provides the 40 hottest keywords of the hour, and though the results change frequently, at any given time the list offers a snapshot of what's on people's minds. Here are the hottest pop culture trending topics today... Candace Cameron Bure - If you were in 'Full House,' the Googling masses will never forget you. It's a rule. The 33-year-old actress who played D.J. Tanner is hitting headlines because... well, why is she hitting headlines? It might have something to do with 'Moonlight and Mistletoe,' the heartwarming Hallmark holiday movie finally making it to DVD or perhaps 'Make It Or Break It,' her upcoming ABC Family series about Olympic hopefuls. (It will air in January of 2010.) It might even have something to do with her religious site. We still don't know, so keep Googling.

Mandisa Weight Loss - The former 'American Idol' contestant appeared on ET's 'American Idol Rewind' yesterday to speak about her struggle with obesity. She has lost 80 pounds since first auditioning for the show in 2006 when Simon Cowell joked that they'd need a bigger stage to accommodate her. Simon apologized afterward, but Mandisa credits his attitude as one of many reasons she pushed herself to slim down. In March, she released her fourth album 'Freedom,' which she confirms is so titled because she's now free from her decades-long addiction to food.

Wanda SykesWanda Sykes Wife -The world is about to get a great big walloping of Wanda Sykes. She's got her own talk show debuting on Fox November 7th and her HBO stand-up special 'I'ma Be Me' hits the airwaves Saturday, Oct.10. Tune in if you want to see her speak out in public for the first time about her interracial gay marriage. In snippets from the special Wanda says of wife Alex, "I like to say she's French, because it's better than 'white.'" She also lashes out on Obama, Michael Jackson, health care town hall meetings, and Halle Berry. But don't worry, there's tons about her wife.

Brawley Nolte - Name you're kid Brawley, and he's bound to land behind bars a few times over the course of his life. Anyway, Nick Nolte's son was arrested on Tuesday for DUI and possession of a controlled substance after ramming his car into another in Santa Monica. You might remember Brawley from his fine work as Mel Gibson's son in the movie 'Ransom'... And you might remember his father from '48 Hours' or 'Blue Chips' or his hilariously despicable 2002 DUI mugshot. Dare we say, like father like son?

Eric Braeden - Big news in the soap world. Eric Braeden, 29-year staple of CBS' 'The Young and the Restless' has quit the show amidst a contract quarrel with Sony. The studio wanted the actor who plays zillionaire mogul Victor Newman to take a pay cut, and he said no way. Unless the two sides make up soon, Braeden will make his last appearance on the show Nov. 2.

Levi JohnstonLevi Johnston Photos - Yep, he's posing for 'Playgirl,' at least if he gets his way. The deal isn't official yet, sources say, but the 19-year-old daddy of Sarah Palin's grandson is hitting the gym like it is. TMZ has exclusive photos showing Johnston pumping iron and sweating bullets in preparation for the shoot. He has been taking advantage of his 15 minutes of fame: he starred in a pistachio commercial and even escorted Kathy Griffin to the Teen Choice Awards earlier this year. We don't know who this guy thinks he is, but you're interested, and apparently he's getting paid. Source popeater.com
