Smart Power from Duracell: Extra Power Boost On The Go

We have always spoken highly about the fact that we live in a highly mobile era. We can take our work with us practically anywhere and we can constantly stay connected to friends and family regardless of wherever they or we are in the world. That is, until the battery runs out.
All our gadgetry is highly dependent on that one thing — power. Once it runs out, then we lose the mobility and convenience that drove us to acquire these gadgets in the first place. But then again, there are no boundaries as far as innovation is concerned, and as challenges and obstacles arise, so do the tools to address them.
DuracellTake for instance the new Duracell products that are due to come out this month. First, there is the Duracell myGrid, a rather nifty device that allows users to wirelessly charge their mobile phones. Just a few posts ago, we featured the Dell Latitude Z and the wireless laptop stand that powers it up. The Duracell myGrid charges on the same concept; a small mat can take care of charging up to 4 units at once, using conductive charging technology. Since the mat is very slim, it will fit nicely into a carry all and provide users with convenient charging, anytime, anywhere. For now, the myGrid is compatible with certain Blackberry, Motorola and Nokia models, with the iPhone myGrid Kit due to be released in the spring of next year.
Another charging device is the Duracell Instant USB Charger, which serves as a portable backup power source for USB-compatible devices. And a quick look at one’s purse or backpack nowadays will reveal that there are quite a few of those devices hanging around in there!
Now, one can go around and be sure that there will be enough power to support the myriad things that one can do in this digital age. These devices can charge most mobile devices, including iPhones, iPods, Blackberrys and digital cameras.
