Jasinski, 31, confessed to using his $500,000 prize money to buy thousands of oxycodone pills and resell them, authorities told the Associated Press.
Jasinski, a native of Delray Beach, Fla., was arrested Saturday night in North Reading, Mass. after he tried to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to a government witness. The drugs were stuffed in a sock that Jasinski tossed underneath a car when agents swooped in for the arrest.
Jasinski admitted to using his Big Brother winnings to buy and sell thousands of oxycodone pills across the East Coast for the last several months, according to an affidavit filed in court.
The one-time public relations manager faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine on a charge of possession of oxycodone pills with intent to distribute.
