Most of all, you're sorry to see any family struggle. But for the Dodgers, the separation of team owners Jamie and Frank McCourt could have long-term ramifications for the franchise if it leads to divorce, including the very likely possibility of a sale of the team.
Meanwhile, reports Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports, Dodgers manager Joe Torre publicly refuted comments by Peter Gammons of ESPN that working for the McCourts was a "living hell."
