Wondering why Niki Taylor, 'My Antonio Winner' and Seregon O'Dassey are surging in Google Trends? We can shed some light on the mystery. Google Trends provides the hottest keywords of the hour. Though the results change frequently, at any given time the list offers a snapshot of what's on people's minds. Here are the hottest pop culture trending topics today...
Venture Brothers Season 4 Episode 1 - The fourth season of the edgy Adult Swim cartoon premiered last night, and the show's net savvy fans are Googling the episode like crazy, because, well, we don't know why. Maybe they want to watch it again? Maybe fans were too busy watching 'Mad Men,' 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' 'Bored to Death' and football last night and they wanted to wake to the week with a little bit of action-packed psychedelic 'Venture Brothers' action? Maybe some weird cryptic Easter egg business went down last night, something involving the decapitated head of Henchman 24 perhaps, and fans are trying to get to the bottom of it. God speed to you Googling fans, whoever you are.
'My Antonio' Winner - The penultimate episode of Antonio Sabato, Jr.'s show 'My Antonio' ran on VH1 last night, setting up a surprising showdown between hot bachelorettes vying for the soap star's love. Officially out of the picture, as of last night, is Sabato Jr.'s ex-wife Tully Jensen. From the get-go, she was the fan favorite to win back her man. But now it's the nurse vs. the makeup artist - Brooke Barlow vs. Miranda Reinfeldt - in an epic showdown that will air next Sunday in one of the most anticipated events in TV history. Well, something like that.
Seregon O'Dassey - Halloween must be right around the corner. Seregon O'Dassey is a mostly unknown model/actress with a habit that you might think sort of peculiar: she likes to drink blood. Yeah, she's a real-life vampire and she's got her own mini-show called 'Vampires Revealed' on Comcast On Demand's Paranormal TV. O'Dassey tells Time Out New York that drinking blood is like "a sexual experience, for more than one reason; one of them's saftey." She goes on to say that the Manhattan vampire scene isn't as organized as the Philadelphia scene or New Jersey scene, and she warns of the dangers of drinking too much blood at once.
Niki Taylor - The 34-year-old supermodel and former 'Make Me A Supermodel' host is hitting the airwaves and Internet in support of National Teen Driver Safety Week. The cause has a special meaning for Taylor, who in 2001 was nearly killed when a friend's vehicle careened off the road and smashed into a utility pole after the driver was distracted by his cell phone. Taylor suffered serious liver damage in the collision, and she underwent 56 surgeries as a result. According to the press release for National Teen Driver Safety Week, which runs Oct. 18-24, car accidents are the number one cause of death among teens. Niki Taylor knows that many of these deaths are preventable, and she wants you to know that, too.
