Days ago we were talking about tablets and that they’re coming , but we don’t know when and where, we just know that we want them and that they’re going to be the next big-thing in technology. Well, here is something unofficially official: the TechCrunch CrunchPad Tablet is going to be available by the end of 2009. How do we know that? Thanks to Popular Mechanics and their annual Top 10 Most Brilliant Products of 2009 aka Breakthrough Awards 2009.
The article consists of products which are already available, however, the only one which doesn’t exist is the CrunchPad tablet. Michael Arrington has yet to comment on the news, or we might have missed him, but how can a non-existent product win something? That’s odd. Below you can find the Top 10 list:
TechCrunch CrunchPad Tablet
Nikon Coolpix S1000PJ
Lehr Propane Trimmer
Ford Ecoboost V6
Andalay AC Solar PV Panel
Loggerhead Bionic Hydrant Wrench
Hustler Zeon Electric Mover
Quickrete Asphalt and Green Concrete
Palm Pre
Honeywell Wind Turbine
So what do you think? Or do you know something we don’t? Popular Mechanics clearly does, but let’s just congratulate Michael Arrington and TechCrunch for already drawing the plaudits for the CrunchPad tablet.
