The 7-Foot Long Dog

Looking to break the world record for longest dog, Caryn Weber’s Landseer Newfoundland is said to be 7 feet long from nose to tail. Weighing in at 180 pounds, Boomer may just be the biggest canine of all time.

Weber, who lives on a farm in North Dakota, has gotten used to her Boomer messing up everything in the house. “(He) comes into the house and his tail is so high everything gets knocked around. It also doesn’t help that his eating habits amount to her purchasing a 20-pound bag of dog food every two weeks.

At three years-old Boomer is already three feet longer than the previous tallest dog in the world, which was 4-foot long Great Dane.
