Stroller Baby Survives Train Collision (VIDEO)

A closed-circuit video was released Friday by officials in Melbourne, Australia, showing a baby being hit by a train. When the mother temporarily let go of her baby stroller, her child rolled off the edge of the train platform just as a train was pulling into the station. The baby, strapped into the stroller, was dragged under the train for 100 feet before it came to a stop. Miraculously, the child suffered only very minor injuries. As the Times reports:

Paramedic Jon Wright said the baby received only minor injuries. "Fortunately the train was slowing as it pulled into the station. The baby received a bump to his head and was distressed when we arrived," he said.

"Luckily he was strapped into his pram at the time, which probably saved his life."
