A suspicious mayday call from the coast of Rottnest Island was called in. Police of the water are the call from a mystery boat.
According to Perth-now, "The boat was about 40 nautical miles north of Rottnest when it allegedly raised the alarm. Crew on board were also abandoning the vessel, the Mayday call said."
The call is believed to have been genuine but police could not find the boat. What's even stranger is that there is no boat of the name Sea Dolphin II in there database.
The police will continue to search and gather clues. (c) tPC
