A driver of a pick-up truck is on the run from police after attempting to hit a police officer with his vehicle.
The suspect, who is reportedly a man, launched police into a high-speed chase in Dallas, Texas, and attempted to hit a police officer who was laying down a spike strip.
The suspect's rear tires have been blown out by police. He was traveling along a major highway before exiting into a more rural area with muddy roads.
The chase started when the suspect pulled into a gas station, filled his tank - and took off without paying.
