Maurice Wolin Gets One More Plea Rejected

wolineOctober 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Doctor Maurice Wolin arrested in a sex sting operation made one more attempt to get his name cleared out from the case. However,he got his plea dismissed.
A judge of the Sonoma county had turned down the appeal of this East Bay doctor. The online conversations of Wolin with the agent posed as teenage girl got recorded in proxy server. Therefore, the defense case would not be affected. Hard drive containing the conversations was destroyed. Thus, the rights of Wolin also does not get violated.
As the charges against Maurice Wolin are not yet proved, he has been given bail. Wolin will have to face imprisonment once the charges against him gets proved. Maurice Wolin was arrested three years earlier in August 2006. Other than Maurice, 27 men had been arrested in the same sting operation that continued for three days.
As stated by the sources, Maurice was arrested from Petaluma, where he reportedly went to feast on his latest victim whom he had met over the net. Maurice had established communication with the girl before visiting Petaluma. They had discussed on issues related to sex in their online chats. He was unaware of the fact that the person who posed as a girl of thirteen years was actually an agent trying to get him trapped.
According to the reports of the sources, the chats of Maurice Wolin was recorded and stored in a hard drive of a computer. This case of Wolin was aired on television in a NBC show Dateline. The title of the show was “To Catch a Predator”.
