Music fans go to great lengths for last-minute ACL tickets

The Austin City Limits Music Festival sold out two-and-a-half months ahead of the show.
"Pearl Jam, you've got B-52s, Sonic Youth, so there's so many great acts. Yeah, I think this year, it's a lot harder to find tickets," ticket seeker Will Townsend said.
Desperate music fans are turning to Craigslist.com selling massages, yoga lessons and more.
Townsend is hoping his GPS device will guide him to a ticket.
"Hey, I'll trade a GPS for an ACL ticket on Friday," he said.
While Townsend tries to use technology to score some tickets, local artist Miranda Pleasant is trying to use her skills to get into the park.
"I want to trade a four-by-four, or smaller, for an artist wristband," she said referring to her artwork.
She said she wants to see the musicians she said inspired her work.
"I've created a lot of these pieces when I was listening to Michael Franti and Ben Harper. Their music carries a lot of energy and it carries a lot of emotion," Pleasant said.

Festival organizers like Lisa Hickey with C3 Presents said these ticket tactics may not be the best idea.
"I don't recommend people purchasing from third parties because we just can't guarantee that it's a legitimate official ticket," Hickey said.
Still, some music fans are willing to take the risk, for a chance to see their favorite acts.
