Revolution Money adds Fifth Third Bank as Card Issuer

Revolution Money and Fifth Third Bank have announced a partnership where Fifth Third will become the first major bank to issue the RevolutionCard.
Yeah, I hadn't heard of Revolution Money or the RevolutionCard yet either, but that's why this is such a big step for the first new payment brand introduced since Discover in 1985.
Revolution Money was founded by Steve Case, who also founded AOL.  Their website describes the RevolutionCard as more flexible and secure than other, more established brands.  It is a PIN-based card, so you (or the thief who stole your card) would need to enter a PIN before making any purchases, much like a debit card.  The cards themselves are anonymous - they don't show the cardholder's name or account number on the card.
Despite these and other perks, the RevolutionCard is still only accepted at limited locations (as evidenced by the list provided on their website), so I'm not sure if I'm ready to join this revolution yet.
