Sherman services set

A memorial service for business commentator Fred Sherman will be today at 11 a.m. at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. Friends may call at 10 a.m.

Mr. Sherman, 85, of King of Prussia, died Saturday.

For 25 years, until last January, he was a commentator on KYW-AM (1060), where he was known for his distinctive sign-off: "Fred Sherrrrrman." He also appeared on WPEN-AM (950), with The Money Show, and on NBC10's Sunday morning news.

Mr. Sherman is survived by his companion, Diane Williams, and a son, David. A son, Henry, died in 2000. Source philly.com
