Small Earthquake Rattles Bay Area

A small earthquake with an epicenter south Pleasanton rattled homes across the San Francisco Bay Area Tuesday evening local time.
The 3.7 quake with the relatively shallow depth of 5 miles (8km) struck at 8:27pm PDT and was felt as far away as San Francisco and San Jose.
Local Twitter users though seem to be more surprised that there was an earthquake and they hadn’t felt it.
There are no reports of injuries or damage, and given the small size of the quake, none are expected.
