New Delhi, Sept 12, 2009: Tila Tequila bruises revealed to the media. Tila Tequila has shown bruises inflicted on her by her boyfriend Shawne Merriman. She shown the bruises following charges against Shawne Merriman were dismissed.
Reports say that district Attorney Bonnie Dumanis has dismissed charges against San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman, who is accused of choking and assaulting former reality star Tila Tequila in his San Diego home last Sunday.
Tila a citizen’s arrest warrant charging Merriman with felony counts of battery and false imprisonment.
On Friday afternoon, Dumanis said there is insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Merriman committed a crime.
“This case is now closed,” the DA said in a statement.
Tila Tequila’s career began at the age of 18 when she was discovered at the Sharpstown Mall by a Playboy scout and was offered a chance to model nude for the magazine.
She did a test shoot, then eventually moved to Southern California and was featured as Playboy’s Cyber Girl of the week on April 22, 2002, and soon thereafter she became the first Asian Cyber Girl of the Month. A few more pictorials for the magazine followed.
Tila gained further popularity through the import racing scene. She has been featured on the cover of Import Tuner magazine, at car shows such as Hot Import Nights, and in the video game Street Racing Syndicate.
