Johannesburg: Sri Lanka (SL) are eyeing to seal the semi finals berth of Champions Trophy 2009 against England here at New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.Sri Lanka has already defeated South Africa in the opening match by 55 runs (D/L method) and they are at top in the Group B.
Sri Lankans are only one win behind to secure the semis berth.
As per as batting department is concerned, Sri Lankans are looking too strong. Apart from this, English batsmen have to face “M” factor i.e. Mendis and Muralitharan.
English team is playing without start cricketers like Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff in the series.
Sangakkara & Co are looking too strong in all department. Sri Lanka will not make any changes with the winning combination.
